Please note that the campground has a policy prohibiting the presence of alcoholic beverages and a no-show policy that enforces full charges for unoccupied reservations.

Important Regulations and Reminders

To ensure a wholesome experience for all campers, a few regulations are in place:

No commercial operations are allowed on the campground premises.
Discount passes must be applied at the time of reservation and can only be used for the specific site assigned to the pass holder.
Campers may not stay for more than 14 days within any 30 consecutive days across USACE campgrounds on Lake Lanier.

Getting Here

Reaching Sawnee Campground is convenient; simply take US 400 north, exit at 14, turn right on Highway 20 east, and then left onto Sanders Road. At the first stop sign, take a right on Buford Dam Road, where the campground will be located on your left.
