For the past 28 years, the Društvo za Podvodne Dejavnosti Jezero Velenje has organized this invigorating tradition. At 1:00 PM, brave divers gather at Čolnarna, overlooking Lake Velenje, to take part in this exhilarating event. Despite the chilly waters, participants plunge into the depths, toasting to the new year and the upcoming diving season. What began in 1995 has evolved into a cherished diving tradition, drawing enthusiasts from across Slovenia, including members of the Podvodna reševalna služba Slovenije prepared for emergencies even in such extreme conditions.
