Experience the serene beauty of Camp Faribo, nestled in the heart of Faribault, Minnesota. This family-oriented campground has been a beloved destination for over 50 years, offering a wide variety of amenities and activities that cater to all ages. Just 40 minutes south of the Twin Cities, it provides campers with an ideal escape while being conveniently close to urban conveniences.

Location

Located just outside of historic downtown Faribault, Camp Faribo is surrounded by picturesque farmland and is close to various local attractions. With 15 lakes within a 15-minute drive, guests can enjoy beaches, bike paths, and plenty of outdoor recreation.

Activities

There is no shortage of fun at Camp Faribo! Engage in various recreational activities including:

Swimming: Enjoy our 55-foot swimming pool, open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend (weather permitting).
Sports: Participate in basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, soccer, and tetherball.
Games: Enjoy bean bag toss, bocce ball, and a game room complete with pool tables and ping pong.
Nature Trails: Explore nearby bike trails around Sakatah Lake State Park.
Seasonal Events: Join in on themed weekends such as Halloween Bash, Wild West Weekend, and Christmas in July.

Amenities

Camp Faribo offers various amenities to ensure a comfortable stay:

Camping Options: Choose from 30 amp and 50 amp full hookup sites, as well as tent camping sites.
Restrooms and Showers: Modern, clean facilities open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Laundry Facilities: Available from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and recently remodeled in 2021 for your convenience.
Camp Store: Stocked with essentials, souvenirs, and recreational equipment for your adventures.
Playground: A newly built playground ideal for kids to play and explore.

Dates & Hours

The campground operates from April 15 to October 15, providing ample opportunities for families and friends to create lasting memories. Check-in is available from 1:00 PM, with a check-out by noon the following day.

Rates & Sites

Our competitive rates make it easy for families to enjoy a getaway:

30 AMP sites start at $47 per night.
50 AMP sites start at $50 per night.
Tent camping sites (no hookups) are available for just $30 per night.
Extra person fee: $5 per day, with each site allowing up to four people.

Campground Policies

At Camp Faribo, we prioritize the safety and enjoyment of all guests. Some key policies include:

Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult at the pool.
Pets are welcome but should be leashed and supervised at all times.
No outside firewood is permitted to protect local ecosystems.
Quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, promoting a peaceful camping environment.
