Camping Options

Current River Campground boasts a range of camping accommodations to suit your preferences:

• Full Hookup Sites: Perfect for RV campers, these sites provide water, electric, and sewer connections. Available in 30 amp for $56 per night and 50 amp for $60 per night.
• Primitive Tent Sites: Choose from scenic riverfront or riverview spots for a more rustic experience. Rates start from $41 per night for Riverview and $51 per night for Riverfront locations.

Reservations are available for a minimum of two nights, with deposits required for your first night’s fee. The rates include up to two adults and two children ages 17 or younger, with additional charges for extra guests.

Amenities and Activities

• Exclusive Gravel Bar Access: Enjoy one of the most secluded gravel bars on the Current River, ideal for swimming, sunbathing, and picnicking.

Campground Rules and Rates

Current River Campground operates seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Check-in for campsites begins at 3 p.m., while check-out is at noon. The staff is available:

• Monday to Thursday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Friday: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Saturday: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Sunday: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Children under 3 can stay for free, and there is a nominal fee for additional children aged 4 to 17, as well as extra adults aged 18 and older.
