    Campsites on the Superior Hiking Trail must be shared when needed, and camping is allowed only at designated campsites.

    Campfires are only allowed in the designated fire ring, and each campsite has one fire ring that must be shared between parties.

    Pack everything out. There are no trail garbage services, and food scraps, including orange peels and seed shells, must be carried out.

    The trail has campsite latrines, and visitors are encouraged to use them whenever possible. Toilet paper can go in the latrines or be packed out.
