Located just two miles from the thrilling Alton Towers, the UK’s largest theme park, Lower Micklin Touring Park is a small, award-winning family-run caravan, motorhome, and camping site nestled in the picturesque Staffordshire countryside. Set on 10 acres of idyllic private farmland, this touring park offers breathtaking views over the rolling landscapes of Staffordshire and the stunning Weaver Hills, providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxing outdoor getaway.

Pitch Options

Choose from a variety of pitches tailored to suit your needs:

Super Hardstanding Pitches: 10 pitches with individual water, waste, and 16 amp electric hook-up.
Standard Hardstanding Pitches: 7 pitches with drainage and 16 amp electric hook-up.
Super Grass Pitches: 4 larger pitches suitable for bigger tents.
Standard Grass Pitches: Available for smaller tents up to 8m x 5m.

All pitches come with electric hook-ups, ensuring a comfortable stay while allowing you to charge devices and enjoy lighting. Note that heating appliances are not permitted on certain pitches.

Dog-Friendly Environment

Lower Micklin is a welcoming site for pets, allowing a maximum of two well-behaved dogs per pitch. Dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times, with designated exercise areas available. Enjoy the beautiful countryside while ensuring your pets are entertained and well cared for.

Lower Micklin Touring Park is open from 28th February to 30th November. Planning your trip is simple with online booking available to select your desired pitch. A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking, with the balance due upon arrival. With minimum stays of just two nights on weekends, it’s easy to enjoy a quick retreat into nature.
