Oak Mountain State Park Campground

Yes. The campground is open for camping year-round.

The campground offers RV sites with water, electricity, and sewer at some sites, primitive tent sites, picnic tables, tent pads, grills, lantern hooks, fire rings, and 30/50 amp service. There are also two bath houses, a restroom by the playground and dog park, laundry facilities, a large playground, and an off-leash dog park.

The park offers hiking trail access, and Oak Mountain State Park itself has more than 100 miles of trails plus activities like mountain biking, horseback riding, swimming areas, fishing lakes, playgrounds, and nature programs.

The North gate closes daily at sunset, so guests need to use the South gate to enter and exit the park.
