About Us

Founded in the early 1980s by Bård S. Hansen, Oppmyre Camping has a rich history that has been lovingly maintained over the years. In 2023, Sarah and Marco took over the campground with a mission to continue the legacy of hospitality that Bård established. They strive to provide visitors with a memorable experience amid beautiful natural surroundings.

Campsite Features

• Location: Just 3 km from the village of Myre, easily reachable by car, bike, or on foot.
• Natural Beauty: Set beside the sea, surrounded by stunning landscapes that invite exploration.
• Accommodations: Offers a variety of options including tent pitches, campervan sites, and cabins.
• Amenities: Fully equipped kitchen, communal living room, terraces for relaxation, clean restrooms, and laundry facilities.
• Electricity Availability: Most pitches equipped with electricity (not for electric vehicles).

• Nighttime Quiet Hours: To enhance the camping experience, we maintain quiet hours to respect all guests’ peace.
