The campsite can be accessed via a gravel road, requiring guests to park their vehicles in the designated car park before taking a short walk to the campsite. Follow the Kauaeranga Valley Road from Thames for approximately 14 km to reach the visitor centre, and then continue for another 9 km north to arrive at Trestle View Campsite.
