Located in the stunning Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests near Red Feather Lakes, Colorado, West Lake Campground is a cherished destination for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. Available Campsites

West Lake Campground features 31 accessible single- and double-family campsites, complete with electric hookups to enhance your camping experience. For those preferring a more traditional experience, there are also five tent-only sites without hookups. Each campsite is furnished with:

• Tent pads

• Campfire rings with grills

• Canoeing and Fishing: The 25-acre no-wake West Lake is ideal for canoeing and fishing, where anglers can cast for rainbow and lake trout.

• Wildlife Viewing: Witness the diverse wildlife in the area, including bears—stock your campsite to minimize encounters.

Essential Amenities

The campground is equipped with necessary amenities for a comfortable stay:

• Drinking Water: Available until September 30 each year; note that filling your RV water tank at campground hydrants is prohibited.
• Vault Toilets: Provided within the campground for convenience.
• Firewood: Gather firewood in the forest or purchase it from the camp host.

Regulations and Fees

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, West Lake Campground has established some important rules:

• All campsites must be occupied within 26 hours of the reservation start time, or they will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Off-road vehicles are prohibited within the campground.
• Caution is necessary as fire restrictions may be imposed during hot and dry conditions, limiting the use of campfires and charcoal fires.
• Extra vehicle fees apply: one vehicle is included in each reservation; additional vehicles incur a nightly fee of $8.00.

Getting There

To access West Lake Campground, take Highway 287 north from Fort Collins for approximately 24 miles to Livermore. Then turn west on County Road 74 and continue for an additional 24 miles to arrive at the campground.
