Filipov Breg Camping Rest Area – Uvac Nature Reserve, Serbia

Perched at 1,150 meters above sea level in the picturesque village of Ojkovica (Nova Varoš), Filipov Breg Camping Rest Area offers a breathtaking view of Zlatar Lake. This family-owned campsite lies within the protected Uvac Special Nature Reserve, ensuring guests enjoy an authentic rural setting with unspoiled nature all around.

The campsite features 20 tent pitches (5.5 x 2.5 m), carefully leveled with fine gravel for drainage and oriented towards the lake, making sunsets and sunrises truly spectacular. For those without their own gear, fully equipped tents for 2 or 4 persons can be rented, complete with inflatable mattresses and pillows.

Facilities include a sanitary block with toilets, showers, and sinks supplied with fresh spring water, an outdoor dishwashing area, and recycling containers for PET and aluminum waste. Guests also have access to barbecue areas, outdoor cooking equipment (grills, cauldrons, pans), and a communal campfire spot—the heart of evening gatherings.

Parking is available above and below the campsite, and eco-awareness is at the core of the experience. Beyond camping, guests can join optional excursions such as hiking, kayaking, boating, stand-up paddleboarding, e-biking, climbing, via ferrata, or canyoning.
