This campground is exclusively designed for tent camping and is open during the summer months from May to September, weather permitting. With eighteen rustic tent sites, it promises a memorable outdoor experience amidst nature’s splendor.

Location

To access the Girdwood Campground, simply take Alyeska Highway and turn east on Egloff Drive. Continue past the Glacier City Hall, the Girdwood Fire Department, and Ball Field. The campground is conveniently located just beyond the Ball Field, making it easy for visitors to find.

Camping Details

• Cost: $10 per night per tent
• Maximum stay: 14 consecutive nights
• First-come, first-served campsites; no advance reservations
• Campers must pay at the payment kiosk upon selecting a site

• Quiet time begins at 10 p.m. Silent enjoyment of the park is encouraged to maintain serenity.
• Respect wildlife by not endangering yourself or them.
• Use bear-proof food lockers and do not keep food in tents or coolers.
• Pets should be leashed and must not disturb other campers. Please clean up after your pets.
• Fireworks and firearms are prohibited within the campground.
• Discard trash in the bear-proof containers provided.
