Indian Brook is conveniently located in Essex Junction, VT, within a short drive from major urban centers, making it an accessible destination for weekend getaways. The campground features designated parking areas, with campsites located approximately a 1/4 mile walk from the parking lot, allowing for a serene transition into nature.

Amenities and Facilities

Campsites: Each campsite accommodates a maximum of five people and is equipped for tent and hammock camping, with each site featuring a 12×12 platform for tent placement.
Restroom Facilities: Campers will find a composting latrine near campsite 3 and a portable toilet available in the parking lot for convenience.
Fires: Designated fire pits are provided for a cozy camping experience. Campers are required to bring their own clean and dry firewood, sourced locally to prevent the spread of invasive species.
Water Quality Monitoring: Regular water quality checks ensure a safe and healthy environment for swimming and recreational activities.

Camping Regulations

At Indian Brook, we prioritize the safety and satisfaction of all guests. Please adhere to the following rules:

No more than five people are allowed per campsite.
A reservation receipt must be displayed on your vehicle’s dashboard.
Maximum stay is limited to four nights and five days.
All campers must conduct themselves respectfully, with strict enforcement of quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Glass containers are strictly prohibited, and a Carry In/Carry Out policy for trash and waste disposal is in effect.
Alcohol and smoking are not permitted on the campground premises.

Pricing and Reservations

Camping at Indian Brook Reservoir is available from Memorial Day through late August. Pricing details for 2024 are as follows:

Essex Resident: $21.00 per campsite per night
Non-Essex Resident: $26.00 per campsite per night

To reserve a campsite, please visit the Gate House upon your arrival or contact the main office prior to arrival.
