Available Campsites

• Overnight Sites: Five tent-only campsites accommodating up to 10 people each.

Access to the campground requires a short walk of approximately 300 yards from the parking area to the campsites, making it an excellent choice for those looking for an off-the-beaten-path camping experience. Please note that only a limited number of vehicles are allowed per site.

Accessibility

Kirby Cove is committed to inclusion, providing specific access through a secondary gate for individuals with disabilities or limited mobility. Visitors should contact the Marin Headlands Rangers at least 48 hours in advance to inquire about accessibility and obtain the necessary gate codes.

Firewood for campfires must be nail and chemical-free, and it is recommended to purchase it locally as gathering firewood is prohibited. Remember to check for any burning restrictions during your stay.

Reservations and Regulations

Reservations at Kirby Cove Campground can be made up to 6 months in advance and are limited to a maximum of 3 nights per season per camper to ensure availability for everyone. Please ensure you print your confirmation email and display it on your dashboard as your permit.
