About the Site

Merley Hall Farm features a spacious 12-acre site known as The Meadows, which can expand up to 30 acres along the river for special events and festivals. The campground boasts stunning views of Julian’s Bridge and the historic Wimborne Minster, making it a perfect setting for family gatherings, events, and private functions.

Amenities

The campground provides essential amenities to ensure a comfortable stay:

• Parking Space: Each pitch is allowed one vehicle, making access convenient.
• Sanitation Facilities: Temporary toilets and showers are regularly serviced to meet your needs.
• Campfires: While open fires are not permitted, raised BBQ’s and camping stoves are allowed under strict safety guidelines.
• Food Options: Mobile catering facilities provide food and drink for an additional cost from Friday through the event weekend.
• Pet-Friendly: Well-behaved dogs are welcome but must remain on a lead.

Camping Information

The campsite is operational primarily for events, with the key highlight being the Wimborne Folk Festival, which attracts over 35,000 visitors each June. For this event, tents, campervans, and caravans are welcome from June 6-10 in 2024. Note that booking is exclusively done online in advance:

• Each pitch accommodates up to 4 persons (under 5 years free).
• Space available for 1 large tent/camper/caravan (awnings included) or 2 small 2-man tents.
• The cost for additional persons on the same pitch is £40.00.
• The weekend camping pitch is priced at £120.00.

Event Venue Hire

Beyond camping, Merley Hall Farm is available for various events, including weddings, festivals, and country shows. The fields are provided as a blank canvas, allowing you to customize the space. Optional amenities for hire include:
