• Amenities: Each site includes a picnic table and fire grate for cooking and relaxation; however, be advised that fires are only permitted in established grates. Potable water is available from spigots throughout the campground, while restroom facilities are conveniently located nearby.
• Wildlife Spotting: As you set up camp, keep an eye out for diverse wildlife. The area is home to red squirrels, snowshoe hares, gray jays, and much larger animals including grizzly bears, moose, and caribou.

Accessibility and Getting There

Access: Visitors can drive their RVs to Teklanika, which allows for a unique experience as most park visitors must turn around at Mile 15 (Savage River). However, if you choose not to drive, a special camper bus service is available to transport campers to the campground.

Driving Caution: It’s important to drive with caution on the gravel road to Tek, as the edges are soft and not well-defined. Be mindful of the winding path and steep ditches along the route.

A fee is associated with reserving your camping site at Teklanika River Campground. Additionally, camper bus tickets are required for transport and exploration within the park. The Tek Pass allows holders to utilize park transit buses during their stay, making it easier to venture further into the wilderness.

• Quiet Hours: Observance of quiet hours from 10 PM to 6 AM ensures a peaceful environment for all campers.
• Restroom Facilities: Restrooms are available throughout the campground, but shower and laundry facilities are not.
