Nestled in the serene landscape near Butuceni, Moldova, Bacota Camping offers a peaceful escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. Since its discovery in 2007, this family-run campground has been cherished for its breathtaking views of the Raut river canyon and the charming village of Butuceni.

Campground Features

• Accommodations: Guest accommodations include tent pitches and space for RVs/caravans. The campground stretches over 2.5 acres, providing ample space for relaxation and outdoor activities.
• Facilities: Guests enjoy basic amenities including hot and cold water, restroom facilities, and a summer shower to cool off on warm days.
• Community Spaces: The communal area includes a cozy outdoor fireplace for campfire gatherings and a grill available upon request.
• Observation Deck: A rooftop observation deck offers stunning views, perfect for a serene morning coffee or evening star-gazing.
• Dining Experience: The campground features ‘Crama lui Vasile,’ equipped with a kitchen, dining room, and the possibility for guests to enjoy meals together.

Child-Friendly Environment

Bacota Camping includes a small playground for children. However, we advise parents to supervise their kids at all times, as we do not have dedicated staff to ensure children’s safety.

Pricing and Reservations

The fee for camping is 250 Moldovan lei (approximately 13 euros) per person per night. This price includes access to all basic facilities, including Wi-Fi, electricity, and communal amenities. Guests are encouraged to book in advance, as the owners may not always be on-site for spontaneous visits. Upon arrival, contact our team to ensure your stay is well arranged.
