Planning Your Trip

Difficult Campground is accessible via Highway 82. However, vehicles over 35 feet in length are prohibited over Independence Pass. Camp ground rules stipulate that quiet hours are enforced from 10 PM to 6 AM to ensure a peaceful stay for all visitors. Upon arrival, reserved sites will be held until noon the day following your arrival, after which sites must be occupied to maintain the reservation. Additionally, guests should ensure dogs are kept on leashes at all times within the campground.
