Camping Reservations

Reservations for camping at LaVern M. Johnson Park can be made online, allowing campers to plan ahead up to 12 months in advance. It is recommended to book early, especially for summer weekends when demand is high. The park offers a variety of camping options for both RV and tent campers.

Camping Rules

Campers must vacate their site by 11:00 a.m. on the expiration date of their permit.
Quiet hours are enforced from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. to ensure a relaxing atmosphere for all guests.
Campfires are not permitted. Charcoal and propane camp stoves are only allowed in designated areas, ensuring safety throughout the campground.
Tents are not permitted on RV sites, and each site only allows for one RV or one tent.

Camping Spots

The campground features a variety of sites to accommodate different camping preferences:

16 RV sites equipped with full hookups, providing ideal comforts for RV travelers.
20 tent sites designed for those who prefer a traditional camping experience.

Each campsite is designated for a maximum of six people, and campers will find all sites equipped for parking one vehicle. Additional parking permits may be purchased for extra vehicles during your stay.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

The campground’s cancellation policy is structured to provide both flexibility and accountability:

No refunds will be issued for no-shows or early departures.
Reservations cancelled less than three days before arrival will not receive a refund.
For cancellations made 4 to 14 days prior to arrival, a fee equivalent to one night’s stay and reservation fees will be charged.
Cancellations made more than 14 days before arrival will receive a full refund minus a $20 cancellation fee and the reservation fees.

Daily Rates

Rates at LaVern M. Johnson Park are as follows:

RV Sites: $55 to $60 per night.
Tent Sites: $32 to $37 per night.

Note that prices may fluctuate during peak seasons such as Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day, where a minimum three-night stay is typically required.
