Amenities

Little Yellowstone boasts a range of facilities designed to enhance your camping experience:

• Campsites: A total of 34 campsites, featuring 16 electrical sites for RVs and campers, and 18 secluded primitive campsites for a more rustic experience.
• Restroom Facilities: Equipped with 3 modern concrete privies for your convenience.
• Water Supply: Rural water is available, though please note that water services are shut off for the season.
• Playground Equipment: Family-friendly playground area that offers children a safe place to play.
• Sports Facilities: A ball diamond and soccer goals for recreational activities.

Camping Rates

Little Yellowstone County Park provides a variety of affordable camping options:

• $20 per night for primitive campsites
• $25 per night for campsites with electrical hookups
• $35 for small picnic shelter reservations
• $50 for large picnic shelter reservations

Reservations are necessary for sites 1-9 from April 9 through October 31, and each campsite can accommodate a maximum of 8 people. The park welcomes one unit per campsite, which can include either an RV or a camper plus a tent, or two tents.

Visit Us

The park is open for camping from May 1 through October 31. Managed by the Barnes County Park Board, the park is staffed by a dedicated team including campground hosts who are available to assist with the day-to-day operations.
