    Nestled along the picturesque Sacramento Arm of Shasta Lake, Nelson Point Campground is a serene escape that combines natural beauty with convenient access to a variety of recreational activities. Located conveniently off Interstate 5 and surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of the Shasta-Trinity National Forest, it’s the ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts and families alike.

    • Campsites: All campsites come equipped with a grill or stove, picnic tables, fire rings, tent pads, and bear-proof food storage boxes.
    • Paved Parking: Each site features paved parking spurs for easy access.
    • Restroom Facilities: Vault toilets are available on-site for your convenience.
    • Maximum Trailer Size: The campground can accommodate trailers up to 16 feet in length.

    For group gatherings, the campground can be reserved from May 13 to September 11, with a maximum group size of 75 people. Please note that individual family camping reservations are not permitted during peak season unless the entire campground is booked.
