Welcome to The Cabins at Joshua Tree Lake, a unique camping destination perched on the southern edge of the Mojave Desert. This campground offers breathtaking desert vistas and panoramic views of the North face of Joshua Tree National Park. With a charming selection of cabins, RV campsites, and primitive tent sites, you’ll have the perfect base for exploring all that this incredible region has to offer.

Accommodations

• Queen Cabin Suites: These comfortable cabins come equipped with premium bedding, a sofa bed, desk, and climate control, making them perfect for couples and young families looking to relax after a day of adventure.
• Hostel Bunk Rooms: Ideal for travelers on a budget, these cozy hostels feature private bunk beds, lockers, and climate control, catering to groups of friends or solo adventurers seeking new connections.
• Tent Camping: Experience nature up close in our primitive tent sites, which allow for a maximum stay of 4 nights each month. Note that these sites lack amenities such as electricity and running water.
• RV Sites: Choose from sites with full or partial hookups for water, electricity, and sewer connections, or opt for dry camping with access to dump stations.

Amenities

• Fishing: Engage in catch-and-release fishing at the lake. Note that fishing requires a fee and swimming or contact with the water is prohibited.
• Restroom Facilities: Flushing toilets and hot showers are available exclusively for registered guests.
• Wi-Fi: Limited wireless internet access is available for a service fee, providing a connection to the outside world, if necessary.
• Dishwashing Stations: Facilities are provided for washing dishes, ensuring convenience for our campers.
• Campfire Areas: Fires are permitted only in designated burn barrels. Please remember that ground fires are strictly prohibited.

Guidelines & Restrictions

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, the campground has established specific guidelines:

• All guests must display registration tags on their vehicles and tents while on the premises.
• Primarily, tent sites are uncrowded and first come, first served without reservations.
• Maximum occupancy at each site is 6 people, including children.
• All pets must be kept on a leash and are subject to additional fees; please pick up after them.
• No swimming, boating, or wading is allowed in the fishing lake.
• Check-in time begins at 12 PM, with an 11 AM check-out the following day.

Travel Information

Getting to The Cabins at Joshua Tree Lake is straightforward. It’s conveniently located off Highway 62:

• From Los Angeles: Take I-10 East, merging onto SR 62, then turn left onto Sunfair Road.
• From San Diego: Follow I-15 North to I-10 East, and then State Route 62 toward Joshua Tree.
