Located just a few miles south of Waldport, Oregon, Beachside State Recreation Site is a picturesque campground that offers breathtaking views and an array of outdoor activities. - Camping Options: The campground features 32 electrical sites with convenient water access and 42 tent sites nearby, all with a limit of one vehicle per site. Additionally, there are two yurts available for rent, one of which is pet-friendly.

- Accessibility: Two campsites and both yurts are equipped for universal access, ensuring that all campers can enjoy the beauty of the park.

- Firewood Purchase: Firewood is available for purchase during posted hours at the woodshed or Park Host sites, with bundles sold for $5 and fire starters at $1 each.

Seasonal Camping

History
Beachside State Recreation Site was established to provide public access to the stunning ocean beach at Big Creek and to protect the native shore pine and vegetation in the area. Originally named Big Creek State Park upon its acquisition in 1944, it was renamed in 1957 to avoid confusion with other similarly named areas.
