• 342 campsites, each equipped with a fire ring and picnic table.
• 3 Youth Group sites for scouting and other organizations.
• Available 30-amp electric hook-ups located in the G-Loop and I-Loop.

Whether you’re seeking solitude or fun with groups, Assateague State Park has something for everyone. Many of the campsites are just steps away from the beach, offering breathtaking views and a refreshing ocean breeze.

Amenities and Facilities

The campground is designed for your convenience and comfort:

• A bathhouse available from May to October featuring toilets, sinks, showers, and baby changing stations.
• Access to a fish cleaning station located at Bathhouse #9.
• Free access for Golden Age Passholders* when valid pass is presented.

To ensure a smooth camping experience, check-in is between 2:00 PM and 10:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM on your departure day.

• Campers are advised to avoid keeping food in tents to deter wildlife.
• Be cautious of biting insects, which may be prevalent from May to November.
• Respect quiet hours and avoid the use of loud generators that could disturb other campers.
