Camping Torghatten

Situated at the foot of the majestic Torghatten mountain in Brønnøysund, Norway, Camping Torghatten offers a unique blend of nature, comfort, and local culture. This family-run campground has been a cherished destination for over 240 years, providing visitors with an authentic experience of the great Norwegian outdoors. Guests will find landscaped grounds perfect for camping, along with a variety of accommodations to suit different needs and preferences.

Accommodations

Hytter (Cabins): Available in two sizes – 35 m² and 47 m². All cabins come fully equipped with kitchens, bedding, and towels.
Leiligheter (Apartments): Spacious with up to 6-8 sleeping spaces, including two bedrooms and a sofa bed. Enjoy breathtaking views from select apartments.
Glamping Tents: Combining the charm of camping with comfort, these tents feature a double bed, sitting area, and access to communal facilities. Available for booking from July 1 to August 15.
Camping Sites: Equipped for tents, caravans, and motorhomes, with options for powered and non-powered sites.

Restaurant: The Strandrestaurant serves delicious meals with a focus on local ingredients and seafood, featuring a set menu with eight courses. Reservations are recommended.
Swimming Pool: Enjoy a solar-heated swimming pool perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking or exploration.
WiFi: Free wireless internet access is available throughout the campground, including in all accommodations.

High Season (June 15 – August 15): Prices range from 350-550 NOK per night depending on your location on the campground.
Low Season (August 15 – June 15): Prices start from 1500 NOK per night, with various offerings for cabins and apartments.

Booking and Policies

Online booking is available for many accommodation types. For group bookings or specific requests, contact the campground directly. Cancellations are allowed up to 2-3 days before arrival without charge. A fee applies for pets in accommodations.
