Welcome to Hever Camping, a tranquil getaway nestled on Wilderness Farm in the picturesque Kent countryside, near Edenbridge. This unique campground offers visitors an opportunity to experience the beauty of nature while enjoying the rustic charm of a working farm.

Location and Access

Hever Camping is conveniently accessible via a double gate located half a mile down the road from the Farm Field entrance. Follow the clearly marked signs to the camping area. Please be cautious while driving on the farm’s tracks, particularly during adverse weather conditions, as access may be affected by wet ground. In such cases, camping may be redirected to the Farm Field.

Upon arrival, guests will find parking typically available next to their pitch. However, during inclement weather, parking may be restricted to the hard-standing area within the farmyard.

Security and Safety

As part of a working farm, gates are secured at night for safety. Guests will receive a unique code to access the grounds 24 hours a day. Please ensure the gate is locked promptly outside of trading hours (8 am – 6 pm).

Camping Experience

Campfires add a cozy charm to your stay! At Hever Camping, guests are allowed to have campfires on raised platforms away from tents and structures. Bags of logs are available for purchase, priced at £6 each, and kindling can be obtained for £1.50. Limited braziers can be borrowed; however, guests are kindly reminded not to forage wood from the surrounding area.

Amenities

• Hot Water Facilities: The toilet cabin is equipped with hot water for washing up, complemented by a large sink.
• Restroom Access: Toilets are conveniently situated along the hedge-line in front of the pond and within the farm yard, opposite the camping field entrance.
• Cleanliness: Guests are encouraged to take responsibility for waste disposal, as there are no on-site facilities. Rubbish must be bagged and placed in designated purple bins located outside the Farm Field toilets.
• Showers: Currently, showers are only available in the Farm Field.
• Electricity: Please note that there is no electricity on site, allowing for a more authentic camping experience with nature.

Pitching Guidelines

At Hever Camping, pitch selection is subject to availability. While specific pitches are not allocated, during busier times, grouping may be necessary to accommodate all bookings and ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone.
