Situated just 18 miles east of Lewiston, Idaho, McKay’s Bend is easily accessible via U.S. Highway 12. The campground operates on a first come, first served basis, allowing visitors the spontaneity of outdoor adventure without the need for advance reservations. With stunning views and a wealth of activities nearby, this campground serves as an excellent home base for exploring the natural beauty of Idaho.

Facilities

• Camping Options: The site features 14 full hookup RV sites, which include water, electricity (50 AMP), sewer connections, picnic tables, and fire rings. Additionally, there are 3 large tent campsites equipped with picnic tables and fire rings.
• Showers and Toilets: Registered visitors have access to 2 showers and 2 flush toilets, ensuring comfortable amenities during your stay.
• Day Use Area: A designated area is available that provides picnic tables and BBQ grills for those looking to enjoy a meal outdoors.
• Garbage Disposal: On-site garbage disposal facilities ensure a clean environment, with regulations in place prohibiting the disposal of private or municipal refuse.
• Access: Although there is a parking area, please note that there is no RV dump station on the premises.

Fees

Affordability is key at McKay’s Bend, with fees structured for various camping setups:

• Tent Camping: $10 per night
• RV Full Hookups: $18 per night per camper
• Extra Vehicles: $4 per night

Special discounts are available for America the Beautiful – Senior Pass or Access Pass holders, who receive half price for standard amenity fees.
