Available Campsites
The campground features a variety of campsites designed to accommodate both tent campers and RV enthusiasts. There are a total of 24 campsites, each equipped with modern amenities, including:
- Standard Electric Hookups available on all sites
- Drinking Water
- Flush Toilets
- A boat ramp for easy lake access
Visitors are permitted to reserve one tent and one RV or up to two tents per campsite, making it a flexible choice for families and groups.
Natural Features
Washunga Bay is beautifully situated within a diverse ecosystem that is home to various species of wildlife. During winter, the area becomes a hotspot for birdwatching, particularly for spotting migrating bald eagles. The lake itself covers an impressive 17,000 surface acres and has 168 miles of scenic shoreline.

- Hiking: Explore the numerous trails in the area, with the Eagle View Hiking Trail stretching approximately 12 miles along the eastern shore.

- Sites 54 and 55 may be subject to flooding; check conditions prior to arrival.
- It is recommended to purchase firewood locally to protect local forests from pests.
- Campsites can be reserved through Recreation.gov.
