Nestled just 6 kilometers west of Nordegg along Highway 11, this campground serves as a perfect base for adventures in the Canadian Rockies.

Camping Features

• Site Availability: The campground boasts a total of 105 sites, with 81 non-serviced and 24 powered sites available for reservations. Please note that Fish Lake is fully reservation-based; there are no first-come, first-served sites.
• Maximum Stay: Campers can enjoy a maximum stay of 16 nights on a single site, allowing plenty of time to explore the local landscape.
• Check-in/out: Check-in time is at 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 2:00 PM to ensure smooth operations for all guests.

Amenities

Fish Lake Campground provides an array of amenities to enhance your camping experience:

• General Store: A new general store, The Bear Essentials, located in Loop 3 offers camping supplies and essentials.
• Firewood: Firewood is for sale at the campground for $10.00 for 12 pieces; please note that firewood is no longer included in the nightly fee.
• Water Facilities: While there are no trailer fill-ups, the campground provides a pump and tap water for filling jugs. For trailer water fill-ups, campers must visit the nearby Rocky Mountain House Museum or Nordegg behind the Nordegg Lodge.
• Outhouses: Clean and accessible outhouses ensure a comfortable camping experience.
• Boat Dock: A floating boat dock allows for easy access to the tranquil waters of Fish Lake.

Camping Regulations

To ensure a pleasant experience for all guests, please keep in mind the following regulations:

• No ATV use is allowed within the campground to maintain a peaceful atmosphere.
• Feel free to bring your own firewood, but purchasing it from the caretaker is also available.
