Available Campsites

Giant Gap offers a variety of campsite options to cater to different camping preferences:

Sites 001 to 030: Standard Nonelectric sites
Sites 004, 010, 024, 027, and 029: Tent Only Nonelectric sites
Several sites are accessible for campers with mobility needs.

With plenty of options for both RVs and tent camping, visitors can select the perfect site to suit their needs. However, it’s important to note that large single-unit RVs may not be suitable for navigating the campground roads, so guests are encouraged to verify details before arrival.

Respect the natural environment by collecting dead wood for burning, but do not cut or damage any living trees.

Driving Directions

To reach Giant Gap Campground, take the following route:

From Interstate 80, take the Auburn/Ravine Road exit.
Continue east for approximately 17 miles to Foresthill.
Travel through town and follow Forest Road 10/Sugar Pine Road for 9 miles.
After crossing a boat ramp and dam, continue for over a mile to reach the campground.
