Campsite Information

Grass Lake State Forest Campground offers 15 sites that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note:

• Camping Fee: The fee is $15 per night, applicable for stays longer than 8 hours.
• No Reservations: Sites cannot be reserved, so arriving early is advisable, especially during peak camping season.
• Restroom Facilities: Basic restroom facilities are provided, ensuring basic comfort during your stay.
• No Electric Hookups: This campground emphasizes a rustic experience with no electric hookups available.

Unique Attractions

The Grass Lake and surrounding areas hold unique attractions, including:

• Nature Preserve: Wild rice has been planted by Ducks Unlimited, creating an inviting habitat for ducks and geese.

Access and Transportation

The campground is conveniently located just 10 miles northeast of the Village of Thompsonville, easily accessible via Reynolds Road. However, due to the ongoing Reynolds Road Bridge closure for repairs, visitors are advised to follow detour signs and access the campground via Cinder Road for the duration of the closure.
