Hendre Farm Campground Overview

Located in the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park in Wales, Hendre Farm offers a unique blend of camping, breathtaking scenery, and access to local wildlife. This family-friendly campsite is nestled at the foot of the Preseli Hills, providing visitors with proximity to both the coast and lush greenery.

Camping Options

At Hendre Farm, guests can choose from a variety of camping options, with pitches available for caravans, tents, and camper vans. The pricing is as follows:

£20 per pitch per night for up to 2 people.
Additional persons can stay for £5 per person per night.
Electric hook-up is available for £4–£5 per day.
Single-man hiking tent pitches are also available for £10 per night (walking guests only, no vehicles allowed).

The campground offers a range of amenities making your stay convenient and comfortable:

A separate male and female toilet block with two toilets and sinks in each area.
A shower block equipped with four private showers.
An indoor washing up area featuring a washing machine, microwave, and fridge-freezer.
Facilities for disposal of chemical waste and grey water for camper vans and caravans.
WIFI connection is available across the site.
On-site shop stocked with local produce such as milk, eggs, and meats.

Unique Experiences

Hendre Farm is more than just a campsite; it’s an educational experience. Guests can participate in a wool spinning workshop held regularly on Thursdays, allowing you to spin wool from the farm’s own sheep.

The site is a working farm with a flock of 2500 Lleyn ewes. Visitors will have the opportunity to see livestock and may even learn about sustainable farming practices firsthand.

The campsite is ideally situated near two beautiful beaches:

Pwllgwaelod Beach – a picturesque spot perfect for swimming and sunbathing.
Cwm-yr-Eglwys Beach – known for its charming 12th-century church and safe swimming conditions.

Additionally, the renowned Pembrokeshire Coast Path is within walking distance, offering stunning views and excellent hiking opportunities. The circular path around Dinas Head provides spectacular sea and mountain vistas.

Arrival Information

Guests are welcome to check in between 1:30 PM and 6:00 PM on the day of arrival. Departure is required by 11:30 AM on the day of departure. All pitches will be allocated upon arrival, and it is recommended to pre-book given the popularity of the site.

Important Information

Only one car per pitch is permitted; additional vehicles must be arranged beforehand for off-pitch parking.
All dogs are welcome, but they must be kept under control and are not permitted in the camping field.
The campsite is accessible via a private concrete track road.
Guests are kindly asked not to drive caravans or camper vans down to the farmhouse for check-in due to turning space limitations.
