Getting There

To reach Fletcher Bay campsite, follow these directions:

From Coromandel, take the Colville Road for 22 km until you reach the Whangaahei Junction.
Turn left and follow Port Jackson Road. Fletcher Bay is 7 km further at the end of the road.

Note: The last stretch involves an unsealed road with a water crossing that may become challenging during or after heavy rainfall, so access may vary.

Camping Features and Amenities

Fletcher Bay Campsite offers a variety of conditions aimed to make your stay comfortable:

Capacity: Maximum of 300 campers.
Tent Sites: 45 non-powered tent sites, allowing for a true back-to-nature experience.
Fees:
- Adults (18+ years): $15 per night
- Children (5-17 years): $7.50 per night
- Infants (0-4 years): Free
Bookings: Required all year round and must be made online to secure your spot. A $10 service fee applies for phone or in-person reservations.
Check-In/Out: Check-in is from 2 PM; please vacate your site by 11 AM but feel free to use communal facilities throughout the day.
Parking: Limited to one vehicle per group due to space constraints.

No fires are permitted at any time, including fireworks.
No dogs or pets allowed, adhering to conservation regulations.
All rubbish must be taken with you as it is a Pack In Pack Out site—bring a container with a sealed lid for food scraps.
Access to boats is limited; water access isn’t guaranteed, especially for larger vessels over five meters.
