Pioneer Park Campground is a picturesque destination nestled along the scenic shores of Lake Michigan in Muskegon, Michigan. Camping Facilities

The campground features 235 modern campsites, designed to accommodate various preferences with both open and shaded areas. Each campsite comes equipped with water and electric hookups, making your stay comfortable. To ensure convenience, there is also a sanitary dumping station available on-site.

Pioneer Park offers a variety of accommodations, including:

• Rental Cabin: Perfect for those wanting a home-like experience. The cabin sleeps up to 6 people and comes with essential amenities.
• Picnic Lodge: A spacious area for family reunions, weddings, and events, featuring handcrafted tables and a small kitchen for food prep.

Pioneer Park Operating Hours

The park opens each year on the first Friday in May and operates through to the last Sunday in September. During this time, guests can access the campground daily from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.. In the off-season, it remains open for day use but with varying hours—8:00 a.m. to dusk from October 1 through April 30.

Rental Information & Fees

At Pioneer Park, the fees are structured to offer affordability along with an excellent camping experience:

• Campsite Fee: $38.00 per night.
• Picnic Lodge Rental: Daily rental rates begin at $125, ideal for gatherings.
• Cottage Rental: $150 per day with a two-day minimum, or weekly for $1,000 during peak season.

Park passes are available for $5.00 per day or $20.00 for the season. Please note that every vehicle entering the park must display a valid park pass.
